Spectators
Allegra
… and welcome to the Olympia Bob Run!
With the exception of a few competition days, which are specially marked in the → Season Highlights, admission to the Olympia Bob Run is free for spectators.
Hotspots
The most popular spots for spectators are the start area in St. Moritz, the Horse Shoe corner and the finish area in Celerina. At all three of these locations, you can follow the entire runs on a large-format video wall.
Bob Start
At the Bob Start, you can enjoy a meal at the → Gunter Sachs Lodge restaurant throughout the season. The restaurant has an inviting sun terrace, which gives you a comprehensive overview of the start area and an unobstructed view of the video wall.
Horse Shoe
The Horse Shoe is the sharpest and most spectacular corner on the track. At this point, athletes are subjected to up to 5G (five times their body weight). It is located right next to the road and is served by its own bus stops during our season. The sleds racing past seem close enough to touch, and the dynamics of ice channel sports can also be physically felt by spectators here.
During selected events (→ Season Highlights / → Season program), the Horse Shoe Lodge is open to the public. Martin Annen, the former two-time overall bobsleigh World Cup winner and bronze medallist at the 2022 and 2006 Winter Olympics, is looking forward to your visit together with his → “Horseshoe Crew“.
Every year again a great experience to stand at the track and watch.
Finish
The finish area is the place of great emotions – unbelievable happiness, boundless disappointment, anxious hope – you can experience all of this up close in the finish area.
Walking trail
At the end of the terrace of the Gunter Sachs Lodge (start area), a walking trail begins (dotted line on the → track map), which takes you along the track from the start area to the finish in Celerina. Not only does it give you exciting perspectives on the track and the sport, you can also learn lots of interesting facts about the history of the Olympia Bob Run and the sport along the way. → Walk of Fame
If you would like to walk the path, we recommend that you wear winter shoes with non-slip soles (and grips if necessary).
Please also note that the path is not maintained during railway construction and snowmelt.
