IBSF Europe Cup Skeleton

At the IBSF Europe Cup Skeleton, young athletes hurl themselves head-first and face-down into the ice channel of the Olympia Bob Run St. Moritz–Celerina. For many, the series is the springboard into international top-level sport: here they collect valuable points for the overall standings, gain experience on the oldest bobsleigh track in the world and make their case for the Intercontinental Cup and the World Cup. On the world’s only natural ice track, an explosive start, clean lines and a healthy dose of courage are what count – and often just a few hundredths of a second separate victory from defeat. Spectators along the track get a close-up look at the skeleton elite of tomorrow as they battle for recognition, podium places and a shot at the world’s best.
