The IBSF Junior World Championships men’s four-man bobsleigh event was dominated by German teams. Laurin Zern, Theo Hempel, David Steube and Rupert Schenk secured the Junior World Championship title with an impressive total time of 2:11.78 minutes.
Silver went to Tobias Dostthaler, Simon Büthe, Julian Klein and Tobias Maul (GER) in 2:12.55 minutes, followed by Alexander Czudaj, Bastian Lanitz, Nino Vogel and Bruno Götzel (GER), who claimed bronze with a time of 2:13.03 minutes.
From a Swiss perspective, Jan Scherrer, Tobias Gnägi, Leandros Manganas, Linus Casutt and Joel Meier achieved a strong fifth place finish with a total time of 2:14.67 minutes. Sven Luca Renggli, Noël Limacher, Livio Maly and Liam Burri followed closely in sixth place with 2:15.31 minutes.
U23 Classification
In the U23 classification, Renars Grantins, Nils Meijers, Matīss Gulbis and Andris Skadiņš of Latvia claimed victory with a time of 2:13.70 minutes. The Swiss team of Sven Luca Renggli, Noël Limacher, Livio Maly and Liam Burri finished second in the U23 category.
