Nationscup Decisions at the FIL EBERSPÄCHER Luge World Cup

As part of the FIL EBERSPÄCHER Luge World Cup, the Nationscup races were held in St. Moritz – Celerina. The women and the men’s doubles competed from the lower Montis Bolt start, while the men’s singles began from the elevated Top start.

In the women’s Nationscup, Yulianna Tunytska of Ukraine claimed victory in 54.424 seconds. Italy’s Nina Zoeggeler followed just 0.036 seconds behind in 54.460 seconds, while Latvia’s Zane Kaluma secured third place with a time of 54.586 seconds.

In the men’s singles event, starting from the demanding Top start, Austria’s Noah Kallan set the fastest time of the day with 1:06.408. Latvia’s Kaspars Rinks finished close behind in 1:06.463, followed by Italy’s Alex Gufler in 1:06.551.

In the men’s doubles Nationscup from the Montis Bolt start, Italy dominated as Emanuel Rieder/ Kainzwaldner, Simon took the win in 53.378 seconds. Ukraine’s Danyil Martsinovskyi and Babura, Bohdan finished second in 54.801, while Romania’s Vasile Marian Gitlan and Serban, Darius-Lucian completed the podium in 54.871.
