Sarah Baumgartner of Austria secured victory in the IBSF European Cup for women with a total time of 2:20.96 minutes. The athlete impressed with two consistently strong runs and deservedly claimed the top spot in the standings.
Sijin Song of China followed in second place with a total time of 2:21.29 minutes,.
The podium was completed by Switzerland’s Sara Schmied. With a time of 2:21.98 minutes, she secured third place and celebrated a podium finish in front of the home crowd.
Further strong Swiss results were achieved by Alexa Carolin Andrae in ninth place with 2:22.68 minutes and Sarah Lüscher in twelfth place with 2:23.11 minutes.
